We are looking for a Housekeeper to work with a renowned Boutique. The housekeeper will be responsible for the general cleaning of the guest rooms
Job description
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner
- Attend to the general cleaning of all the guest rooms according to the Boutique’s standards Communicate effectively and pleasantly with guests and team members
- Assist in other areas assigned
- Report any safety concerns
- Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Maintain the upkeep of all the cleaning equipment
- Oversee the room attendants in their daily duties, ensuring all standards are followed at all times
- Lead. train and supervise room attendants and other team members to ensure their performance is to the standards required
- Inspect the rooms to ensure they are ready in time for guest arrivals
Requirements
- Good command of the English Language; additional languages will be considered an asset Presentable and respectful
- Excellent customer care skills
- Have an eve for detail
- Abilitv to follow instructions
- Hardworking and flexible
- Secondary School education and higher; any qualifications in the hospitality industry will be considered an asset
- Prior experience in a similar role
- On-the job training will be provided
