The Mechanic is responsible to examine, identify, inspect, and diagnose any faults and repair the vehicles as needed.
Job Description:
- Dismantling, replacing the parts and reassembling the vehicles according to specifications.
- Maintaining work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Carrying out mechanical and technical works.
- Examining the vehicles for service and repair.
- Offering technical and mechanical advice on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.
- Abiding by Company procedures and Health and Safety regulations . Ensuring that schedules are abided by so that all repairs and services are carried out in a timely manner.
- Reporting any faults in a timely manner and ensuring that these are being followed up.
- Using the right tools and equipment for the job at hand.
- Cleaning all the working areas.
- Attending any training provided.
- Carrying out other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Secondary level of education.
- Good command of the English language.
- Proven experience and related certificates in mechanical work.
