The Bartender is responsible to greet customers, learn about their preferences, recommend all beverage items on the menu and prepare and serve beverages as ordered.
Job Description
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to be served at table and serve customers at the counter/bar
- Mix cocktails and select ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages on customer’s demand Decorate and keep the bar and all utensils well maintained, clean and organised Receive customers and take orders for drinks
- Clean tables/bar/counter as needed.
- Wash and rinse glasses as needed
- Receive goods/products and store as needed
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Requirements
- Experience in serving cocktails and beverages
- Excellent communication skills particularly in the English language
- A passion for customer service.
- Able to utilise proper equipment and ingredients and handle basic cleaning duties.
- Food handling certificate
