We are looking for a number of Handypersons/Maintenance persons to carry out day-to-day manual work. The work involves plastering and painting, assisting the other maintenance people with adhoc jobs and general maintenance.
Job description
- Carry out the day-to-day routine maintenance check-lists
- Detect any faulty parts and replace them as part of repair and maintenance works
- Organise, plan and follow-up precautionary or corrective maintenance works
- Fixing potential health and safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Physical repairs as needed
- Ensure that proper maintenance issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner
- Inspect equipment from time to time for proper cleaning, speed, temperature and adequate lubrication.
- Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed
- Keep record of all tools and parts necessary for maintaining the equipment.
- Complete written documentation of work performed as needed
Requirements
- Good command of the English Language
- Presentable and respectful
- Excellent customer care skills
- Have an eve for detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Hardworking and flexible
- Prior experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
- On-the job training will be provided
- Candidates must be already residing in Malta and have a valid ID Card
