The General Labourers shall be carrying out manual duties in different settings they are assigned to.
Job description
- Cleaning up worksites from debris and machinery
- Helping erect scaffolding and ladders
- Handling and transporting materials
- Clear and raise site
- Arrange storage areas for equipment and building materials
- Arrange/secure sites by installing scaffolding and events set up as required
- Move chairs, equipment and other items as necessary from one location to the other Provide workstations with material and products and check supply
- Unload and store materials manually in storage areas Prepare the equipment and gear, secure the work area
- Assemble support structures
Requirements
- Fluency in Maltese and/or Arabic is required (in order to be able to communicate with the rest of the current team)
- Presentable and respectful
- Team player
- Work experience and any manual specialisations such as ability to assist in tile laying, plumbing, electricity work, mason building
