Electricians

The electricians shall be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical control, writing and lighting systems, performing general electrical maintenance and performing duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Description

  • Activating electrical installation and carrying out inspections
  • Checking progress of work and its execution
  • Choosing materials and stocking raw materials for production of goods
  • Installing and connecting lighting installations
  • Placing and connecting material for low voltage (switches, sockets etc.)
  • Placing surface-mounted or built-in cable ducts and wires
  • Following health and safety standards and complying with building codes Taking note and reporting any problems and summary of actions taken
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge on electrical work and experience with power tools and hand tools
  • Related vocational training certificates: Electrician license A and/or B are preferred
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Secondary level of education or higher
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • All applicants, whether currently living in Malta and hold a valid work permit or still living abroad and want to relocate in Malta, will be considered for this position.
