We are looking for Aircraft loaders to work with a renowned Ground Handling Agent in Malta. The aircraft loaders shall be responsible to pack, load and unload aircraft and transfer freight and baggage between airport buildings and aircraft.
Job description
- Handling, loading/offloading and transportation of baggage, mail and cargo with utmost care
- Read baggage tags and place schedules
- Make sure baggage/freight gets onto the right plane
- Deal with luggage/freight that went to the wrong place
- Pack and stack luggage and freight
- Find lost luggage and hand it in to ‘Lost Property’ Deal with broken luggage or packaging
- Assist passengers as needed
Requirements
- Good command of the English Language; additional languages will be considered an asset Presentable and respectful
- Good customer care
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physically strong and healthy
- Hardworking and willing to work on a roster basis
- Applicants in possession of Driver Licence B (or International Driving Licence) will be given priority.
- On-the job training will be provided
